Did someone abandon a perfectly good bike and over time the vultures swooped in? Or did someone park a perfectly good bike, then a bike thief stole something from it (a wheel or whatever), then the person gave up in frustration and abandoned the now unrideable bike? I like to ponder the emotion of those moments. The heartless thievery. The feeling of being victimized. The frustration and willingness to abandon something.
